Our Services
Structured Daycare
$60 per day
Our structured daycare provides intentional activities, rather than allowing dogs to engage in constant, unmoderated play. This program will support dog's mental stimulation, physical exercise, and behavioral development throughout the day. We combine purposeful activities with the fun of social play!
Private Sessions
$80 per 1 hour
Private sessions offer personalized, one-on-one training designed to meet the specific needs of you and your pup. These sessions allow for focused attention and a customized training plan. This training takes place in a location that best fits your needs...whether at home, in public, or at our facility.
Group Classes
$200 - $275 per 5 week session
Join our group classes for a fun and social environment where you and your pup learn together. These structured classes focus on building foundational skills while helping your dog learn to stay engaged around distractions. Our offerings vary from basic and advanced style classes to therapy prep classes!
Day Train
$100 per day
Day training is a convenient and effective option where your dog works directly with a professional trainer during the day. The training blends play, rest, outings, adventures and targeted training sessions throughout the day. This program is ideal for busy owners who need the extra help. This also involves coaching to carry the training into your home life.
What Makes Us Different?
From the start, the goal has been to open a facility built on structure and intention. Our structured daycare model is designed to meet dogs' needs in a way that promotes balance. These days will be filled with structure, enrichment, training, socialization, and settling activities. This approach prevents overstimulation, reduces stress, and encourages better behavior in our facility and at home!
At the Dog Den, we're not just dog lovers, we're certified trainers educated in behavioral science who want to raise the bar for what daycare should look like. We're committed to creating a place where dogs don't just burn energy, but build skills and good habits.
Meet the Team

OWNER
SARAH DANBY
Hi, I'm Sarah — the owner of the Dog Den. I've been working in the dog training community since 2019 and volunteering since 2016. I've always had a passion for dogs, but more than anything, I love helping people understand their dogs better.
I have a bachelor's degree in psychology, which gives me a strong foundation in behavior, motivation, and learning theory. Combined with my dog training certification through ISCDT, I have not only academic knowledge but hands-on experience.
As a balanced trainer, I believe there's no one size fits all solution. Every dog, every home, and every situation is different...and that's what keeps this work so meaningful. My goal is to support both ends of the leash with clear communication. When I'm not training, I'm usually spending time with my two-year-old Beauceron, Proxima or finding a weekend to travel!

TRAINER
GIOVANNA TOMPKINS
Giovanna has had a passion for dogs for as long as she can remember. Her journey into the world of dog training began in 2016, volunteering at the Humane Society with rescue dogs. That experience opened her eyes to the power of dog training.
Since graduating from Bangor High School in 2019, Giovanna has worked in many areas of the dog world...training, fostering, kennel tech, daycare, receptionist, and manager. Now a certified professional dog trainer (CPDT-KA), she brings years of hands-on experience and a well rounded skillset.
Giovanna is passionate about helping dogs succeed in the real world! She's known for her calm presence, clear communication, and dedication to continued learning. At home, Giovanna shares her life with Kofi, a Doberman, and Pigeon, an English Cocker Spaniel!

TIM GALLON
